The area of Computer Science faces a gender gap in their courses and work field. There is a need for means and tools to address this gap. One possibility is to introduce women to the world of games. However, developing games that are more attractive to women is necessary. This work identified and validated digital game Attributes and Values favored by women. To achieve this, first, we identified 30 relevant aspects (Attributes and Values) using the laddering interviewing technique and found seven additional characteristics in the literature. Afterward, we provided an online questionnaire that collected women's perceptions of the importance of these aspects. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and differential analysis. The differential analysis results confirmed 57 correlations between Attributes and Values, all of which originated from data collected through the application of the laddering interviews, and an additional 44 correlations between characteristics found in the literature and the Values identified from the laddering. The results reflect the perception of the women participating in this study and can be used to develop more attractive games for the female audience.
