One‐Pot Syntheses of α,β‐Unsaturated Carbonyl Compounds through Palladium‐Mediated Dehydrogenation of Ketones, Aldehydes, Esters, Lactones and Amides

This review highlights the different direct stoichiometric and catalytic palladium procedures leading to α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds from the corresponding ketones, aldehydes, esters, lactones and amides. The proposed mechanisms are described, in some cases with personal observations.
