A gifted and talented program, designed specifically for migrant students and taught by university professors ivas implemented at a high school located in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. The thirty‐seven students were provided with supplemental instruction in one of four subject matter areas —English, mathematics, science, or social studies. Although achievement test data did not indicate significant gains in cognitive learning, there were several indices of a high degree of student improvement within the affective domain after the first year of operation.
