Interrelations between Predators, Prey, and Their Environment

This paper evaluates declines in wildebeest and zebra populations in Kruger National Park, South Africa, with reference to man-altered conditions such as game cropping and water provision and the influence of six very wet years. In relation to these items, the article discusses predation pressure and the experimental management of lions and spotted hyenas.
