A RECORD OF SEROLIDAE (ISOPODA) FROM THE NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN BY ROBERT R. HESSLER Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, Massachusetts, U.S.A. As part of our continuing program of sampling the benthic fauna along a transect between Gayhead on Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts, and Bermuda, a trawl station ( W.H.O.I. Benthic Station #70) was made on August 23, 1964, at 36° 23' N 67° 58' W. This is on the abyssal plain in the Sargasso Sea at a depth of 4680 meters. Among the biological material obtained were 140 individuals of a single species of Serolidae. This collection is noteworthy because
