The College of Business at Arizona State University, like many other colleges and universities, is committed to implementing computerization at all levels of collegiate education. One way ASU has been able to deal with this aspect of computer training is through providing microcomputers for use in various types of business courses. In addition, ASU's College of Business is committed to provide each faculty member with a microcomputer to aid in his or her teaching and research. Because of this impact of computerization, the Department of General Business has recognized the need to design a Center for Office Automation Research (COAR), with emphasis on providing instruction and research in the latest developments in office automation.
