A young patient with embryonal carcinoma of the testis was treated with mithramycin. Multiple arterial occlusive episodes occured in association with courses of drug therapy. In view of the temporal association of these occlusive episodes with drug administration and the lack of evidence of other etiological factors, we have concluded that this may represent an unusual complication of mithramycin therapy.
