Examines the formation of micro black holes in hadron collisions, suggesting critical energy thresholds for collider safety.
The VCV48 topological network model, which postulates a crystalline vacuum with Oh symmetry, predicts the existence of a critical energy threshold for the formation of micro black holes (micro-BHs) in hadron collisions. This threshold, called the “Point of No Return,” is located at Ecrit ≈ 350 TeV in the center-of-mass energy of the partonic interaction. Below this energy, the topological network can evacuate the excess energy via a topological bremsstrahlung (T-Brem) mechanism, preventing collapse. Above it, the radiation is insufficient and the formation of a micro-BH is inevitable. This work derives the point of no return from first principles of the VCV48 model, calculates the safety factor for current and future colliders (LHC, HL-LHC, FCC), and proposes a concrete experimental signature: an excess of events with missing energy (EmissT) in a spectrum extending up to ∼ 544 GeV in proton-proton collisions at the LHC. An upper unitarity bound is established for the production cross section, σ(pp → T-Brem) ≲ O(10^−3 − 10^−2) fb, indicating that HL-LHC or FCC luminosity is required for conclusive falsifiability.
