The stationary problem of unconfined groundwater flow through a rectangular dam has been solved by P. Ya. Polubarinova‐Kochina. In this paper the analytical formulas are used to obtain accurate numerical values for the phreatic surface and for the height of the seepage face. These values provide a reference with which to compare numerical methods for seepage problems.
