The infrared spectra of the vapor and the liquid, and the Raman spectra of liquid cis and trans C 2 HDCl 2 have been obtained in the region 400–3300 cm −1 The observed spectra are in accordance with the assignment of Bernstein and Ramsay for cis and trans C 2 H 2 Cl 2 and C 2 D 2 Cl 2 .
