The acquisition of resources cannot be done in any other means than the prescribed procurement methods by the government of the of the nation. Therefore, it must be noted that it is imperative for the various institutions of which educational institutions are of no exception to employ the use of quality management of the tender procedure to achieve competitive tender prices in their bid to procure resources for their use. The study was undertaken to determine the effect of procurement methods in public senior schools. The study has revealed that the school resort to the open method which gives the opportunity to select from a number of suppliers. The study also revealed that workshops and training are from time to time organized for them to help them improve on their performance regarding to how to procure goods and services. The study also however revealed that they also encounter procurement challenges.
