Measurements of absorption cross sections of chlorine dioxide at 200 ± 20 K in the wavelength region 390–454 nm and at resolutions of 0.5 and 0.1 cm −1 are reported. The measurements were made on an experimental system combining high‐resolution Fourier transform spectroscopy with supersonic jet expansions for sample preparation. This is the second of two papers describing this new technique for obtaining ultraviolet‐visible absorption cross sections at high resolution and under atmospheric conditions.
