Zusammenfassung Die Autoren berichten über zwei schwerwiegende Gefäßkomplikationen bei laparoskopischer Appendektomie. In beiden Fällen wurde die Arteria iliaca verletzt. Die Fälle zeigen das potentielle Risiko größerer Komplikationen bei der Laparoskopie. Größte Vorsicht ist daher bereits bei der Indikationsstellung, besonders aber während des laparoskopischen Eingriffes geboten.
