The effect of inclination on the sodium (Pr=0.0094) turbulent convection in a cylinder of unit aspect ratio was studied experimentally for a fixed Rayleigh number Ra=(1.47±0.03)×10⁷, and the inclination angle varied from 0^∘{} (the Rayleigh-Benard convection) up to 90^∘{} with a step of 10^∘{}.
