To better understand the initial phase of “miscible displacement” experiments and to generate data for “leaching” experiments, a rather general convective-diffusive-sorbtive dispersion model is set up and solved by a somewhat indirect successive approximation method. This method provides an alternate solution method to the well-posed parabolic dispersion equation by casting the chemical distributions into mixed (Volterra in time and Fredholm in space) integral equation forms. The method, presented as a sequel to Part I, is illustrated for the same typical example as was discussed in Part I.
