Abstract:In the modern days machining processes having importance for the production, manufacturing and developments. Vibration is the major issue which damage to the machineand machine effectiveness. Nanofluid as a lubricant is the better option to use in machiningprocesses. Nanofluid as a lubricant is not only decreasing production cost, time, friction, energy and vibration but also increase cutting force, surface finish, minimizes tool wear, andthe heat generation at cutting segment. In this paper different nanofluid used for variousmachining operations such as turning on lathe, milling, and drilling operation is discussed. The researchers are used hybrid nanoparticles such as Al-MWCNT, Al2O3-SiO2, andFe2O3-SiO2 with different types of basefluid. It is seen that the MWCNT nanoparticlescombination with different nanoparticles such as SiO2, Al2O3, andCuO with differentcombination of basefluid showing more prominent results in the machining processes. It isseen that from the literature that the different types of hybrid nanofluid showing bettermachining operation performance and effectiveness towards the vibration and finishing.
