An examination of ethical aspects of migration and recruitment of health care professionals from developing countries

Global health emergencies declared by the WHO, the Global Fund and through the Millennium Development Goals reflect acknowledgment of the challenges posed. Sadly, little has been done, and it is unlikely that in the absence of paradigm shifts in thinking and action any major progress will be made in narrowing global health disparities.
