The manifesto outlines how artificial intelligence can amplify original thinking and memory in individuals.
The First Brain is the brain you already have — and a direction for artificial intelligence built to strengthen it, rather than to think in its place.Almost every AI product ever shipped is built on the opposite premise. It drafts, decides and digests, and the cost of that has been measured for more than a decade: the more reliably a system holds something for you, the less of it you hold yourself. Recall was bought, and comprehension paid for it. This manifesto introduces the term and its definition. It sets out where original thinking actually happens and why nothing has been built for that moment, and it traces intelligence amplification back to the founders of computing, who mapped this direction sixty years ago and did not have the technology to build it. It also names what the direction now makes possible: intelligence present at the moment an idea arrives, work that comes back finished rather than as another task, and — at the frontier — the deliberate strengthening of human memory itself.Author: Serhii Kravchenko.
