The rapid development of communication technologies in recent decades has promoted a wide distribution of remote methods of medical care, offering potential benefits for diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and follow-up of patients. In rheumatology, within the framework of remote medical care, digital technologies can be used for patient-doctor communication, rehabilitation, and disease screening, as well as monitoring and controlling the symptoms, disease activity, adherence to therapy, quality of life, etc. The paper discusses the principles of creation and integration into clinical practice and the effectiveness of digital tools for remote monitoring and control of treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
