Correlations between Snyder's Uniqueness Scale and Zuckerman's Sensation-seeking Scale, Form IV are presented for 60 adults (30 males, 30 females) ranging in age from 16 to 64 yr. The Uniqueness Scale, measuring “abnormality” as a positive characteristic, was related to scores on 5 subscales of Zuckerman's scale. Significant correlations were found between the Uniqueness Scale and all Sensation-seeking subscales with the exception of Thrill and Adventure Seeking for females.
