The aim of the underlying paper is to evaluate the transport route variants to be used for the transport of oversize cargo through the city of Szczecin using the AHP method together with the selection of the best one. Three route variants have been compared using the Analytic Hierarchy Process method, for the case of simulated steel structure transport. The work presents rational premises for the planning of urban transport of oversize cargoes in accordance with the Green City concept.
