56 undergraduates took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and recorded a memory and a daydream. The latter two products were scored for seven characteristics. Interaction of personality variables and imagery were significant over-all; e.g., feeling types reported more vivid memories, extraverts showed more positive emotional tone in memories, and feeling types showed more intense emotional tone, etc. Memories were more vivid than daydreams. Analysis generated new hypotheses.
