External Funding for Training and Research in University Programs in Visual Impairments: 1997–98

This article reports on a survey of the grants received by 32 programs in visual impairments from federal, state, and other sources for training personnel and conducting research. It also discusses various issues raised by the findings and implications for the future of the field.
