The diffusion constants of triplet states can be determined from the time‐dependence of the delayed fluorescence if the excitation of the sample is spatially periodic (Avakian, Merrifield, Ern). As a modification of this method, excitation by two interfering coherent light beams is proposed. The time‐dependence of the delayed fluorescence is derived for this case. Possible applications are discussed.
