We have prepared poly(γ-glutamic acid) amphipathically structured by a modification of l-phenylalanine ethyl which formed weakly self-assembled nanofibrils. The nanofibrils transformed into nanospheres and nanoplatelets upon further environmental changes exerted by controlling the water composition. We consider the novel dynamic nanofibrils are very important for stimuli-responsive bionanoparticles.
