Multivariable analysis explores knowledge and attitudes towards cannabis regulation in young adults, suggesting educational needs.
BACKGROUND: Limited research has assessed young adults' knowledge and attitudes regarding nonmedical cannabis regulation. METHODS: We examined correlates of regulation-related knowledge and attitudes among 4,031 US young adults, ages 18-34, using 2023-2024 data. Multivariable regression assessed factors associated with: (1) incorrect vs. correct responses to regulation-related knowledge; and (2) legalization-related attitudes. RESULTS: Findings underscore the need for young adult education to protect public health.
