The effect of diabetes on tendons is not well known. There are some studies that analyze the impact of diabetes on tendon structures. It has been shown that chronic hyperglycemia causes some structural changes in tendon collagen (1,2). To the best of our knowledge, there is no published study on biceps and supraspinatus tendons.
