Heterogeneous microstructure was engineered on Li electrode by solid-phase grinding reaction of Zn ₃ (PO ₄ ) ₂ with Li metal. It presented high lithiophilicity and stability, providing Li metal anode with a uniform, stable and fast Li plating/stripping.
