Evaluates genetic connectivity and spatial structure in ghost crabs across Northeast Asia, indicating low spatial structuring.
The dataset includes allele-size microsatellite genotypes for Ocypode stimpsoni individuals (n = 167) collected from seven coastal localities across Northeast Asia, including South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. These data were used to evaluate population genetic structure, genetic connectivity, and spatial patterns using microsatellite markers and mitochondrial CO1 sequences. ## Files in this submission - Ghost_crab_microsatellite_241017.xlsx Excel version of the microsatellite genotype matrix, provided for convenience. Microsatellite genotype matrix used for population genetic analyses. - README.md This file, describing the dataset and its usage. - Loci_metadata.csv (if included) Metadata for microsatellite loci, including repeat motifs and primer information. --- ## Format of Ocypode_microsatellite_genotypes.csv - File format: CSV (UTF-8, comma-delimited) - Each row represents one individual. - Each column represents a sampling attribute or microsatellite locus. ### Header structure ```text Individual_ID,Population,Locus_OS11,Locus_OS12,Locus_OS36,Locus_OS46,Locus_OS57
