Explores solutions for degenerate Kirchhoff problems in mathematical analysis, indicating robust approaches to local minimizers.
In the present paper we consider a degenerate Kirchhoff-type problem depending on the nonlocal term m([Formula: see text]u[Formula: see text] 2 ). We study the case when m has multiple zeros and the case when m is degenerate at zero and at infinity. The existence of a local minimizer and of a mountain pass solution is obtained via a simple and unified approach.
