Bioinformatics tools analyze a protein's properties and generate a stable structural model, indicating its quality.
A 701-amino-acid protein sequence was analyzed using publicly available bioinformatics tools to investigate its physicochemical properties and predicted three-dimensional structure. Physicochemical parameters were calculated using ExPASy ProtParam, while structural models were generated using AlphaFold Server and SWISS-MODEL. The resulting models were evaluated with MolProbity and Ramachandran plot analysis. The sequence has a theoretical molecular weight of 75,166.90 Da and an isoelectric point (pI) of 5.57. The instability index (27.80) predicts the protein to be stable, whereas the aliphatic index (106.65) suggests relatively high thermostability. Structural validation showed a MolProbity score of 1.62, a clashscore of 1.90, and 98.46% of residues located in favored regions of the Ramachandran plot without outliers. These computational analyses indicate that the predicted structural model has acceptable stereochemical quality.
