This analysis highlights correlations between search interests in procrastination and academic stress over time, suggesting future research avenues.
This poster examines patterns of public search interest in "procrastination" and "academic stress" using Google Trends data from March, 2020 through June, 2026. I analyzed monthly relative search-interest values to identify patterns and compare variation between the two search terms. The results of this study indicate a strong positive correlation with interest in academic stress and procrastination, with periodic spikes in interest throughout the academic year. This project illustrates how publically accessible data can be used in future research to explore patterns related to academic behavior and stress over time.
