German automaker Daimler has revealed that it will launch a new generation of fuel cell electric vehicles, based on the Mercedes-Benz GLC, in 2017. The GLC F-CELL features a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, which serves as an additional energy source, and can be charged externally by means of plug-in technology.
