Experimental study demonstrates broadband visible emission using a single-phase NaLaS2:Bi3+ phosphor, indicating potential for high-color-rendering white LEDs.
We report a blue-light-excitable NaLaS 2 :Bi 3+ phosphor that exhibits broadband visible emission from 500 to 750 nm. Using this single phosphor, full-visible-spectrum WLEDs with a high CRI of 87.36 were obtained when combined with a blue LED chip.
