Study audits atomic structures in 98 chemical elements, suggesting a shift to topological analysis.
Traditional chemical research relies on experimental observation and quantum mechanical simulation but lacks a quantitative audit of atomic structures as the underlying “source code” of discrete causal networks. Based on the Status-Relational Entropy Dynamics (SRE) protocol, this study conducts a ten-stage cascaded topological audit of 98 elements using experimental crystal data from the AFLOW database. Results show a 100% pass rate for the SRE theoretical framework among the 87 elements with available structural data. Addressing the extreme right-skewed distribution of the Normalized Condition Number (), this paper utilizes median analysis to isolate the distortion caused by a single extreme outlier (Sulfur, molecular crystal). While Sulfur exhibits hyper-redundancy () due to multi-scale topological layering, the overall elemental median remains stable at 99.91, and the mean Logic Depth aligns perfectly with the SRE First Axiom (). This study provides mathematical support for transitioning material evolution laws from “empirical induction” to “topological auditing.”
