The nickel-rich cathode material Li(Ni 0.6 Co 0.2 Mn 0.2 )O 2 has begun to attract widespread attentions because of its high capacity and relatively low cost. However, the cyclic stability of Li(Ni 0.6 Co 0.2 Mn 0.2 )O 2 is poor when comparing other types of cathode materials. After blending with perovskite-structured solid electrolyte Li 0.375 Sr 0.4375 Hf 0.25 Ta 0.75 O 3 , the capacity retention of the Li(Ni 0.6 Co 0.2 Mn 0.2 )O 2 raises obviously, from 72.47% to 86.11%. It is mainly due to the solid electrolyte Li 0.375 Sr 0.4375 Hf 0.25 Ta 0.75 O 3 can increase the lithium-ion conduction and reduce the electrolytic polarization effectively, which are benefit to the cyclic stability. Moreover, when comparing the pristine sample and the blending sample, the 0.1 C/3 C ratio of blending sample raises from 73.16% to 79.63%, implying that the blending materials have a potential to apple in the field of fast-charging.
