Aging of Tenants: Termination Policy in Public Senior Housing

Termination policies and procedures in public senior housing in Connecticut were assessed. The majority of housing authorities had no formal termination policy and no established procedures for managing a frail population. A lack of congruence between termination policies, monitoring practices, and on-site services also was found. The paper discusses the need for policy to address the “aging of tenants.”
