In this paper, numerical solution of the modified Kawahara equation is obtained by using the mesh-free method based on the collocation with radial basis functions(RBFs). Three different types of RBFs are used for this purpose. Stability analysis of the method is discussed. Accuracy of the method is tested in terms of L₂ and L\∞ error norms.
