Between 2015 and 2023, we co-created and co-facilitated five iterations of an undergraduate education course (Education 295).We define co-creation as "shared decision-making, shared responsibility [,] and negotiation of learning and teaching" (Bovill, 2020a, p. 2) that "disrupts the reductive teacher-student power hierarchy by granting agency and power to both sides to shape the classroom experience while also being cognisant of the different functional roles that each person inhabits" (Cook-Sather & Loh, 2023).Through our faculty-student course co-creation, we also facilitated whole-class co-creation, which we define as "inviting a whole group of students who are studying together . . . to actively collaborate and negotiate with the teacher and each other elements of the learning process" (Bovill, 2020b, p. 1025).
