y claim in this article is that the education of minorities in most countries, particularly those in the West, is organized in ways that not only counteract sound scientific evidence but also violate basic linguistic and other human rights.This is true especially in relation to the wrong choice of medium of education.I will substantiate this claim in relation to some fairly recent developments in linguistic human rights in education, paying close attention to the performance of the United States.
