290 patients tested for Leptospira using PCR within five days of illness onset.
Seropositivity for Leptospira was 5.01% (150/2,996), with a male predominance (58.67%)
PCR testing showed no positive results (all negative from 290 samples)
Highest IgM positivity was noted in ages 19-30 years and during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, particularly in December (10.70%).
