SUMMARY An analysis is given of seventy‐one cases of infiltrating growths of the bladder, treated by a general surgeon having a special interest in genito‐urinary surgery. The relevance of growth‐site, sex and age incidence, symptomatology, and pathology is discussed in the context of survival rates. Treatment by surgery, radiotherapy, or a combination of both is compared, to the advantage of the latter.
