Marine algae of Shetland collected during the meeting of the British Phycological Society, August 1962

During the visit of the British Phycological Society to Shetland in August 1962, excursions were made to various localities on the mainland and neighbouring islands.Algal records made in the course of these visits are listed below.The names of the localities used in the present list are taken from the Ordnance Survey maps, although for some, which are there unnamed, the local name has had to be used for the locality.
