Medical devices connected with telecommunication and antennas are making a good impact in the healthcare industry around the clock. The design of novel fabric material-based devices are capable of minimising hospital resources and the labour. To have continuity in the information and to minimize the delay in the information exchange, the body centric communication modules are much needed in the future. This article provides the information regarding design and analysis of compact antenna with the combination of textile substrate and conductive fabric as patch and the ground plane. The advantage of conductive fabric-based textile substrate is that the antenna is washable for reuse and flexible to the human body surface in the cloths. The reflection coefficient, VSWR, radiation patterns and the gain are measured in the anechoic chamber with the help of radiation measurement setup and vector network analyser. The measured results are perfectly matching with the simulation results obtained from Ansys HFSS tool.
