Sr- and Co-doped LaGaO 3−δ with high O ₂ and H ₂ yields in solar thermochemical water splitting

Sr- and Co-doped perovskite oxides La 1−x Sr x Ga 1−y Co y O 3−δ (LSGC) with controllable oxygen vancancy formation energy ( E V ) and oxygen vacancy concentration ( − ) are successfully developed to exhibit high O ₂ and H ₂ yields when reduced at 1350 °C and re-oxidized at optimized 400−1100 °C.
