Nikakis et al. (2024) conducted an RCT in cardiac arrhythmias (n=41). Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) vs. light touch/sham was evaluated on arrhythmia burden. Osteopathic manipulative treatment did not significantly change arrhythmia burden in the 1 month following intervention compared to light touch/sham in patients with CIEDs.
