The dependence between paramagnetic centre concentration, as well as ESR spectral line width and electrical conductivity of a polyester resin doped with various admixtures of acetyelene carbon black has been investigated. Distinct correlations have been found between ESR spectrum and electrical conductivity of the resin as a function of polymerization temperature and accelerant concentration. The correlations confirm the mechanism of the electrical conductivity of the composition which is based on formation of conducting bonds between the carbon black particles and the polyester macromolecules in process of the free radical polymerization.
