Rate coefficients have been calculated for temperatures up to 10 000 K for the mutual neutralization of Li+ and H− from cross-section calculations based on ab initio molecular potentials and couplings. Landau–Zener estimates are provided for the corresponding reaction in Li− and H+. Comparison is made with the results for the H+/H− reaction.
