The calculation of the two-dimensional elasto-dynamic Green's function for a stratified medium is investigated. The solution is represented in the form of an inverse Fourier integral which is to be integrated along a properly chosen path in the complex wavenumber plane. The integrand is computed using a modified propagator matrix method.
