Possible Quasi-One-Dimensional Fermi Surface in La2-xSrxCuO4

To reconcile the two experimental findings on La₂₋ₓSrₓCuO_4, namely, Fermi surface (FS) observed by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and sharp incommensurate magnetic peaks by neutron scattering, we propose a picture that a quasi-one-dimensional FS (q-1dFS) is realized in each CuO₂ plane whose q-1d direction alternates along the c-axis.
